Takoma Park Ballot Question Passes

Takoma Park voters overwhelmingly approved an advisory ballot question directing the City Council to pursue aligning city elections with presidential and gubernatorial elections. Takoma Park has different voter lists than does the county board of elections due to different qualifications for voting. The vote in favor of the question was 1872-385.

District 5 County Councilmember Tom Hucker hosted a fundraiser for Takoma Park mayoral candidate Kate Stewart this afternoon at Republic Restaurant.
