The Democratic National Committee has released a preliminary schedule of speakers for their Philadelphia Convention that runs from July 25-28.

The main headline speakers include:

Monday, July 25: First Lady Michelle Obama and Sen. Bernie Sanders

Tuesday, July 26: Former President Bill Clinton

Wednesday, July 27: President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden

Thursday, July 28: Chelsea Clinton and Hillary Clinton

Monday will also feature Astrid Silva, a DREAMer and immigration activist who came to the country as an undocumented immigrant from Mexico as a toddler.

Tuesday will feature the mothers of Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Dontré Hamilton, Jordan Davis, Michael Brown, Hadiya Pendleton, and Sandra Bland. Each name listed were victims of high profile killings at the hands of police officers, angry neighbors, or wannabe vigilantes that spawned the Black Lives Matter movement and protests across the country.

I would imagine they are specifically leaving all of the people on the VP short list off of the preliminary schedule so as not to tip their hat.

It’s weird because they already previously revealed that Warren was invited to speak on the first night. Now her name has been omitted from the schedule. A signal? Hopefully.
