Sanders Is #WithHer Too

On MSNBC this morning, Bernie Sanders stated that he will be voting for Hillary Clinton in. November, the latest indication that the Vermont senator is working his way towards full cooperation with Clinton in the general election.

Bernie Sanders on Friday said he will cast his vote for Hillary Clinton in November.

“Yes,” the Vermont senator said when asked on MSNBC if he would vote for the former secretary of state this fall. “I think the issue right here is I’m gonna do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump.”

I think at this point it’s safe to say that there many more important things we should be talking about other than Bernie Sanders not yet having formally “conceded” to Hillary Clinton.

Thank you. The key question is what will Clinton do to engage the millions of people who support Sanders. If she moves to the middle in the general election, I think a lot of people who voted for Bernie will stay home (no matter what he says) which could enable Tump to win, Bernie is committed to trying to build a movement that is not just an election strategy for 2016 that will continue past November and be a force for progressive change in this country. You could say one of the reasons for some of the failures of the Obama Administration was that the movement that compelled him was basically shut down after the election.

After Orlando and the serious likelihood Trump could be elected President how could any registered voter with any consciousness of cause and effect stay home in apathy and do nothing? I just joined The League of Women Voters. I am so glad I did. What women had to go through to just protest and advocate for women to have the right to vote was as cruel and Inhumane as dealing with injustices that Amnesty International has to deal with in third world and below countries. Women were locked up and beaten for protesting in front of The White House in 1917! That’s right! Caucasian, married/single women born in the USA arrested and beaten up during the beginning of the women’s suffragette movement. One must vote! It is too important and pivotal in having a say in your future as well as your fellow countrymen’s, countrywomen’s future to just leave that hard fought privilege on the shelf & “fawgit abowt it”. No no no! If you are interested in more information about honor America’s Women hard won effort of getting women the right to Vote, look up The TheTurningPointSuffragistMemorialProhect.com located in Northern Virginia / One cannot stay at home or ultimately not vote. Too much suffering and effort has taken place so that women and men & women who weren’t wealthy property owners can have a say in their elected government nationally and locally. Bernie has empowered the unelitist, Aaron Copland not overly inspired “common man/woman” unbelievably. Former First Lady, NY Senator, US Secretary,Yale Law School graduate, Wellesley undergraduate grad will make a fine US President and I will support her with ( I hope) Bernie’s blessing for our survival
