Now that we have Day 6 totals, let’s take our comparative analysis of 2014 and 2016 early vote turnout forward, shall we? Change from the five day increase figures in parentheses.

Montgomery County: 10,459 early votes in six days in 2014. 23,126 in 2016. Increase: 121.11% (-2.00%)

Howard County: 4,470 early votes in 2014, 8,522 in 2016. Increase: 90.65% (-4.26%)

Baltimore City: 10,004 early votes in 2014, 18,861 in 2016. Increase: 88.53% (+0.36%)

Anne Arundel County: 5,893 early votes in 2014, 10,912 in 2016. Increase: 85.17% (-1.39%)

Prince George’s County: 12,713 early votes in 2014, 22,058 in 2016. Increase: 73.51% (-2.77%)

Baltimore County: 11,784 early votes in 2014, 19,410 in 2016. Increase: 64.71% (-0.26%)

Prince George’s didn’t keep pace with 2014, nor did Howard. Meanwhile, Baltimore City outpaced itself. Baltimore County slipped only a little, and Anne Arundel and Montgomery a little more still. Kind of confirms what we thought from the first analysis of Day 6. Something of a wash.
