While the state was called the second the polls closed for Trump, the big question was how he would do in the congressional districts, where 81 of the 95 available delegates were being awarded.
There is still some of the vote not reported from a few districts but right now, Donald Trump is over the 50% threshold in 24 of the state’s 27 districts. No vote totals from the 4th district has been reported yet.
So the way things stand right now has Trump winning a projected 89 delegates; counting the 14 he won be getting a majority of the statewide vote; to Kasich’s three. Ted Cruz will likely be shut out tonight.
Again, there are still some votes to be counted, but either way, Trump is cleaning up in New York tonight.
