No surprise here, but Bernie Sanders has been declared the winner of Sarah Palin’s home state of Alaska.
About 38% of the vote is in and Sanders is leading Clinton 78.7% to 21.3%. If these margins hold, Sanders will win about 11 of the available pledged delegates in the state. Clinton will win five.
It’s a win, but it doesn’t help him much. Though at the moment, Sanders is cleaning Clinton’s clock in Washington State. As I mentioned earlier today, a win there with a margin that big will be a nice delegate haul, and net gain, for Bernie.
