John Kasich, and by extension, the Republican Party, lives to fight another day. Ohio has delivered a victory, again, to their home state governor. Kasich takes all 66 of the delegates in Ohio.
So the big suspense of the night is over.
Obviously Kasich does not have a path to 1,237, but his win here may prevent Trump for getting to that number before the convention; which would allow the GOP to take the nomination away from Trump despite the fact he will likely have a plurality of the delegates going in.
