Well, I guess all the panic surrounding Donald Trump’s campaign can be put to rest. At least for now.
For all of the talk about his trouble winning closed primaries, something I mentioned earlier today, Trump didn’t seem to have any trouble winning the one in Louisiana tonight. The networks have just called the state for Trump.
It’s early, but right now he is leading by 19%; followed by Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.
If Trump is able to hold on in Kentucky, where his lead is now down to six points, he will salvage what could have been a very bad night – especially considering how Maine and Kansas went earlier.
